Swinburne Online
Want to study but don’t have the time to attend uni? Swinburne Online is a joint venture between SEEK and Swinburne University, with the goal of providing a high quality, engaging and supportive online learning experience for working Australians. WordSauce was commissioned to write new content and make sense of existing words for sections of the Swinburne Online website that included Orientation, Online Education and Industry pages – decluttering the information and establishing an appropriate tone of voice throughout. A simple, step-by-step Orientation Program also needed to be developed, introducing students to the administrative requirements of practical placements and preparing them for applying and completing in-school activities. The project was not about being clever, it was about being clear; taking a user-centred approach to deliver messaging that would reassure students embarking upon online study.
